Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania. Take the A104 highway heading south towards Mbeya. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit towards Mseke. Continue on the road for another 25 kilometers until you reach the Isimila stone Age site, located at the coordinates 4J33+H9R, Mseke.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dodoma to Mbeya. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Mbeya, transfer to a local minibus heading towards Mseke. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at the Isimila stone Age site. The minibus ride should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to check in advance for the bus schedules to ensure a smooth transition.
Walking
