If you are driving, start from the city of Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania. Head east on B1 towards Morogoro. Continue for about 200 km until you reach the junction with the A7 road. Take the A7 road towards Bagamoyo. After about 80 km, you will reach the town of Bagamoyo. From Bagamoyo, follow signs to Mangapwani, which is approximately 20 km north of Bagamoyo. Upon entering Mangapwani, look for signs directing you to the Mangapwani Slave Chamber. Parking is available near the site.

To reach Mangapwani via public transport, you can take a bus from Dodoma to Bagamoyo. The bus fare is approximately 20,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). Once you arrive in Bagamoyo, you can catch a local daladala (shared minibus) heading to Mangapwani for about 2,000 TZS. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at Mangapwani Slave Chamber. The daladala will drop you off close to the site.
