Bagamoyo Full-Day Tour: Historic Slave Market & Kaole Ruins

Professional service.

My wife and I recently finished our full-day trip to Bagamoyo and really enjoyed the experience. The historical sites gave the day a completely different feel from the usual tourist activities. We enjoyed walking around the old sites, listening to the stories, and taking our time exploring. Thank the whole team of Envoyage Tanzania for giving us a peaceful day.

Private Bagamoyo Day Trip with Lunch

Beautiful Day in Historical city of Bagamoyo

Review A day trip to Bagamoyo from Dar es Salaam offers a fascinating glimpse into Tanzania's rich history and coastal culture. The town's historical significance as a major trading port is evident in its architecture and the stories that permeate its streets. From the ruins of Kaole to the vibrant fish market, Bagamoyo provides a captivating cultural experience. A visit to the Bagamoyo Arts and Cultural Institute adds another layer of understanding to the local artistic heritage. While a single day may not be enough to fully explore all that Bagamoyo has to offer, it's certainly enough to leave a lasting impression. The journey from Dar es Salaam is easy to manage, making it a convenient and rewarding day trip.
