Start your journey at the center of Iringa, near the bus station. Head south on the main road (Mapinduzi Street) for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local shops and ask for directions to the footpath leading to Gangilonga Rock, as it may not be well-signposted. Turn left onto a smaller dirt path when you see a sign for 'Gangilonga Rock'. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters until you reach the foot of the rock. The climb to the top begins here.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Iringa. Head south on Mapinduzi Street for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path towards Gangilonga Rock, which is marked with a sign. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the base of the rock. Park your bicycle in a safe spot, lock it up, and begin your ascent to the top.
