Walking
Start from the center of Iringa, near the clock tower. Head north on the main road, Nyerere Road, for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Mkwawa Street. Turn left onto Mkwawa Street and continue for approximately 500 meters. You will pass various shops and local eateries along the way. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the intersection with the unnamed road that leads to Kihesa Mountains Park. Turn right onto this unnamed road and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Kihesa Mountains Park. The park will be on your left side.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Iringa. Begin your ride from the center of Iringa, heading north along Nyerere Road. After 1.5 kilometers, make a left onto Mkwawa Street. Continue straight for another 500 meters, passing shops and cafes. At the intersection with the unnamed road, turn right and ride for about 1 kilometer. You will find Kihesa Mountains Park on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and stay aware of traffic.
Public Transport (Daladala)
From the center of Iringa, locate the daladala station and board a daladala heading towards Kihesa or any route that goes north. Inform the conductor you want to go to Kihesa. The journey should take around 20 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to the intersection of Mkwawa Street and the unnamed road. Walk for approximately 1 kilometer along the unnamed road, and you will find Kihesa Mountains Park on your left. It's advisable to ask locals for directions if unsure.
