Walking
From the center of Iringa, start at the main bus station (Kibena Bus Station). Head south on the main road (Kibena Road) and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A104 highway. At this junction, you will see signs for Kitongwe. Turn left onto A104 and continue walking for about 3 kilometers.

After walking along A104, keep an eye out for a sign indicating the way to Kitononge Village. Follow the signs to your right, which will lead you onto a smaller dirt road. Walk for approximately 2 kilometers along this road, keeping to the left when you reach any forks, until you arrive at the Kitononge Campsite located in Kitononge Village.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From the center of Iringa, take a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Kitonga. You can find these near the Kibena Bus Station. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kitononge. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Kitonga, ask locals for directions to Kitononge Campsite, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. You may have to walk along the dirt road to reach the campsite.
