Walking
From the center of Iringa, start at the Iringa Bus Station. Head south on Sokoine Street for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Nelson Mandela Road. Turn right onto Nelson Mandela Road and continue for another 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Look for the sign pointing towards Mtwivila on your left. Continue straight for another 700 meters until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork which will lead you towards the gardens. After about 300 meters, you will arrive at Makabuli ya Mtwivila, located at coordinates 7M6W+4QQ.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Iringa Bus Station. Start on Sokoine Street heading south for approximately 500 meters. At the junction with Nelson Mandela Road, turn right and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. You can enjoy the scenery and the local atmosphere along the way. After passing the local shops, look for the sign towards Mtwivila on your left. Follow the road straight for about 700 meters, keeping an eye out for any signage. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path and cycle for another 300 meters to reach Makabuli ya Mtwivila.
Public Transport
To reach Makabuli ya Mtwivila using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop from the center of Iringa. Look for a daladala (local minibus) heading towards Mtwivila or the surrounding area. The fare is usually very affordable. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Mtwivila. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off, walk straight ahead for about 500 meters until you see the signs for Makabuli ya Mtwivila.
