    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Iringa, head towards the main market (Soko la Iringa). Once you reach the market, continue southeast along Nelson Mandela Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Unnamed Road. Turn left into Unnamed Road and walk straight for about 2 kilometers. You will start to see signs pointing towards Mkwawa Hill. Follow these signs until you reach the base of Mkwawa Hill. The hill is located at coordinates 6MJV+W92.

    By Bicycle

    Starting from the Iringa bus station, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on the main road (Nelson Mandela Road) towards the city center. After about 500 meters, turn left towards the market area. From the market, continue southeast along Nelson Mandela Road for about 1 kilometer. At the junction with Unnamed Road, take a left turn and bike straight for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signage towards Mkwawa Hill and continue until you reach the hill's base.

    Public Transport (Daladala)

    From Iringa main bus station, take a daladala (local minibus) heading towards Mikumi. Inform the driver you want to get off at the junction for Mkwawa Hill. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the junction. Disembark and walk along Unnamed Road for approximately 2 kilometers. Follow the signs pointing towards Mkwawa Hill until you arrive at the site.
