From the center of Iringa, head south on Sokoine Street towards the main bus stand. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Mkwawa Road. Turn left onto Mkwawa Road and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Mkwawa Museum as you approach. The museum is located just off the main road, and you should be able to spot the entrance easily.

If you are cycling, start from the Iringa bus station and head south on Sokoine Street. Continue straight until you reach Mkwawa Road, then turn left. Follow Mkwawa Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look out for the signs directing you to Mkwawa Museum, which will be on your right side. Ensure you are cautious of traffic as you navigate the roads.
Public Transport (Boda Boda)
You can take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) from any point in Iringa. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mkwawa Museum. Most drivers are familiar with the location, but you can also specify to go towards Mkwawa Road. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
