From the center of Kigoma, head south on the main road (Ujiji Road). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading towards the beach. Turn left onto the beach road and walk for another 1 kilometer until you see signs for Kitwa Forest. Follow the signs which will lead you eastward into the forest area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kigoma. Start from the city center and ride south along Ujiji Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
