Getting there

Walking

From the central area of Uyole, head south towards the main road (Kigoma Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Mbeya - Tunduma Road. At this junction, turn left onto the Mbeya - Tunduma Road. Walk for about 300 meters until you reach the sign for Mti wa asili. The entrance is located on the right side of the road.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Uyole. Start your journey by heading south towards the main road (Kigoma Road). Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the junction with the Mbeya - Tunduma Road, turn left and cycle for another 300 meters. Look for the sign for Mti wa asili on the right side of the road. The area is generally bike-friendly, but be cautious of traffic.

Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)

You can easily hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as Boda Boda) from various points in Uyole. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mti wa asili. The fare should typically be around 2,000 to 3,000 TZS, depending on your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the entrance, which is located off the Mbeya - Tunduma Road.

Public Bus

If you prefer using public transportation, look for a bus heading towards Mbeya - Tunduma. Get on at the main bus station in Uyole. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS. Inform the conductor that you want to stop near Mti wa asili. Once you get off, walk approximately 300 meters back towards the Mbeya - Tunduma Road and look for the sign on your right.
