Getting There

Walking
From the center of Uyole, head south towards the main road. Walk along the main road, keeping an eye out for local signage that may indicate directions to Lake Ngosi. Continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which is less trafficked and leads towards the hills where Lake Ngosi is located. After about 1 kilometer, you will begin to see more signs directing you to the lake. Follow these signs. The last stretch is slightly uphill, and after another 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the Lake Ngosi water viewing area.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Uyole. Head south towards the main road, then follow the same route as described for walking. Cycling will allow you to cover the distance more quickly, but be mindful of the road conditions, especially on the last uphill stretch, which can be steep. Ensure you have some water and snacks for the journey, and prepare for a ride of approximately 5 kilometers.
