Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the center of Morogoro, head south on Uhuru Street towards the Morogoro Clock Tower. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Mkwawa Street. Turn right onto Mkwawa Street and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Choma Road. Follow Choma Road for about 2 kilometers. MAZI is located on your left at Choma, Morogoro. Look for the sign as you approach; it is known for its vibrant atmosphere and is a popular local attraction.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle in Morogoro, start at the Morogoro bus station. Head south on Uhuru Street, then take a right onto Mkwawa Street. Continue on Mkwawa Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to Choma Road. Continue cycling straight for about 2 kilometers. MAZI will be on your left side.   From your accommodation in Morogoro, request a 'boda boda' (motorcycle taxi) to take you to MAZI. Inform the rider that you wish to go to Choma, Morogoro. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the driver will drop you off near the entrance. • Public Transport (Dalla Dalla)

  To get to MAZI using a 'dalla dalla' (shared minibus), head to the nearest dalla dalla stop. Look for a bus heading towards Choma. Board the bus and keep an eye out for the Choma area; it should take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive, disembark and walk a short distance to MAZI, which will be nearby. Confirm with the conductor or other passengers to ensure you are getting off at the correct stop.
