Walking
Start from the center of Moshi town, walking towards Uhuru Street. Continue on Uhuru Street until you reach the junction with Mweka Road. At this junction, turn right onto Mweka Road. Follow Mweka Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. As you approach the outskirts of Moshi, you will see signs pointing towards Marangu. Continue straight on Mweka Road until you reach the intersection with the Marangu Road. Turn left onto Marangu Road and walk for approximately 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Chagga Museum. The museum is located at PG68+9Q5, just off the main road in Marangu, so look for the entrance on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Moshi town. Start at the main bus station and head towards Uhuru Street. Cycle along Uhuru Street until you reach the junction with Mweka Road. From Moshi town, head to the Dala-Dala terminal located near the main bus station. Look for a Dala-Dala heading towards Marangu.
