Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Moshi, head southeast on Uhuru Street towards Nkrumah Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Kibo Street. Turn left onto Kibo Street and walk for about 700 meters until you reach the junction with Mji Mpya Road. Take a right onto Mji Mpya Road and continue for approximately 1.5 km. Look out for signs indicating Langoni. Once you reach Langoni, continue into Mji Mpya. The entrance to Rau Forest Sustainable Tourism will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Central Moshi and cycle southeast along Uhuru Street for about 1 km. At the Kibo Street intersection, turn left and continue cycling for 700 meters. Turn right onto Mji Mpya Road and cycle for around 1.5 km. Keep an eye out for signs to Langoni. The entrance to Rau Forest Sustainable Tourism will be on your right side.

  • Public Transport (Dalla Dalla)

    From Moshi town center, find a Dalla Dalla (shared minibus) heading towards Pasua. Board the Dalla Dalla and inform the conductor you want to get off at Langoni. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Langoni, walk along Mji Mpya Road for about 500 meters. Look for the Rau Forest Sustainable Tourism entrance on your right. Be sure to check local schedules as they may vary.
