Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Moshi, head west on Uhuru Street towards the Moshi Market. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Sokoine Road. Follow Sokoine Road until you reach the junction with Mailimoja Road. Turn left onto Mailimoja Road. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers. You will find Makasa on your right side, just after passing the local shops and before reaching the residential area. Look for the sign with the logo of Makasa.

  • Bicycle

    Starting from the Moshi Tourist Information Center, rent a bicycle and head south on Uhuru Street. Continue straight until you hit the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Sokoine Road. Follow Sokoine Road until you reach Mailimoja Road. Turn left, and cycle along Mailimoja Road for approximately 1.2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for Makasa on your right side. There is usually bicycle parking available nearby.

  • Public Transport (Daladala)

    From the center of Moshi, find a daladala (minibus) heading towards Mailimoja. These can be found at designated daladala stops. Board the minibus and pay the fare (usually around 500 TZS). Stay on the bus until you reach the Mailimoja stop. Once you get off, walk along Mailimoja Road for about 200 meters. Makasa will be on your right side, easily identifiable by its signage.
