    From the center of Moshi, head towards the Moshi bus station (Moshi Terminal). Once you reach the bus station, look for a dala dala (shared minibus) heading to Materuni or Kilimanjaro. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS. Inform the conductor that you are going to Materuni Waterfall. The ride takes about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and stops. Get off at the Materuni village stop, which is well-signed. After disembarking, follow the signs to Materuni Waterfall, which is roughly a 30-minute walk from the village.
