Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Nairobi, take the A104 highway towards Narok. You'll follow this road for approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Narok, continue on the A104 until you reach the junction for the C14 road. Follow the C14 road towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. After passing through the Talek Gate, continue driving along the road until you see signs for Mara Sopa Lodge. The lodge is located in the Ololaimutiek Village, approximately 25 kilometers from the entrance of the reserve. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the roads can be challenging.

Public Transportation
From Nairobi, you can take a bus to Narok. Bus companies such as Easy Coach and Modern Coast offer services that take around 3 to 4 hours. Once in Narok, you will need to arrange for a private taxi or a shared matatu (minibus) to take you to the Masai Mara. The drive from Narok to the entrance of Masai Mara takes about 1.5 hours. After entering the park, you can either hire a guide with a vehicle or take a pre-arranged transfer to Mara Sopa Lodge, which is about 25 kilometers inside the park.
