Car
To drive from Ruaha National Park to Mikumi National Park, start by exiting the park and heading towards the town of Iringa. Follow the signs to Iringa on the A104 highway. The distance is approximately 120 kilometers and will take around 2 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you reach Iringa, continue on the A104 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Mikumi National Park. Follow the signs directing you towards the park entrance.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To travel by bus from Ruaha National Park to Mikumi National Park, you will first need to make your way to Iringa town. Look for local buses or shared taxis (dala dalas) that head towards Iringa. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Iringa, go to the bus terminal and find a bus that goes to Mikumi. The bus ride from Iringa to Mikumi will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary.
