After approximately 30 km, look for signs directing you to Rungwe. Turn onto the B1 road and continue for about 15 km until you reach the Rungwe area. From here, follow the signs towards Mount Rungwe. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain as the last few kilometers involve a dirt road.

To reach Mount Rungwe by public transport, take a bus from Mbeya city to Rungwe. Buses depart regularly from the Mbeya bus terminal. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours.
