Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest city, Dodoma, and head towards the Tarangire National Park area. Drive on the A104 road heading northwest for approximately 100 km. Upon reaching the entrance of Tarangire National Park, continue on the park road until you see signs for Forest Chem Chem. The lodge is located along the Tarangire River in Mdori, just outside the park entrance. Be aware that there may be an entry fee for the national park, which typically costs around $45 per person for non-residents.

Public Transportation
To reach Forest Chem Chem using public transportation, take a bus from Dodoma to Arusha. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours. Once in Arusha, you can find a bus or shared taxi heading towards Tarangire National Park. Make sure to inform the driver you want to stop near Forest Chem Chem. The local bus fare to the park area is around 10,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings).
