Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Forodhani Gardens, head southeast along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the promenade, where it curves left. Follow the curve, and you will find yourself on Kenyatta Road. Continue straight until you see the large Anglican Cathedral on your left side. The entrance to Christ Church Cathedral will be right there.

    From the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), exit the fort and turn left onto Kelele Square. Walk straight down Kelele Square until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto Mkunazini Road and walk a few blocks. You will see the Christ Church Cathedral on your right. The distinctive architecture should be visible from a distance.
