Start at Forodhani Gardens, a popular gathering spot in Stone Town. From the gardens, head east towards the ocean to reach the main road, Mizingani Rd. Walk along Mizingani Rd, enjoying the sea view. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Kenyatta Road. Walk until you see the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) on your right. Continue walking straight past the fort, and shortly after that, turn right onto Mchangani St. Follow Mchangani Street until you reach the junction with R5QR+6Q7. Masjid Barzakh will be located at this intersection on your left.

If you are near the Zanzibar Clock Tower, start there. Head northeast along Levos Rd towards the intersection of Kenyatta Rd. When you reach Kenyatta Rd, turn right and continue walking until you reach the Old Fort on your left. From there, follow the earlier route by turning right onto Mchangani St, and continue until you hit the junction with R5QR+6Q7 where Masjid Barzakh is located.
