Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Stone Town, head north towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) located at the waterfront. Once there, take a right onto the road leading to Forodhani Gardens. Walk along the gardens until you reach the intersection with Kenyatta Road. Continue straight ahead onto Kenyatta Road, keeping the ocean on your left. Follow Kenyatta Road until you reach the junction with Mchangani Road. Turn left onto Mchangani Road and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a sign directing you to Mpandeni. Continue following this path, and Maasai World will be located at the address 58H2+2CP, Mpandeni.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stone Town. Begin your journey by cycling towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) and then head towards Forodhani Gardens. Cycle along the waterfront, enjoying the views, and take a right onto Kenyatta Road. Continue cycling straight, passing by local shops and cafes. Once you reach the junction with Mchangani Road, turn left and continue cycling towards Mpandeni. After approximately 20 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at Maasai World located at 58H2+2CP, Mpandeni.

  • Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    To get to Maasai World using public transportation, walk to the nearest Dala Dala stop in Stone Town. You can find Dala Dalas heading towards Mpandeni. Board one of these Dala Dalas, and inform the conductor that you are going to Mpandeni. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Mpandeni, disembark and follow the signs to Maasai World, located at 58H2+2CP, Mpandeni.
