If you're starting from the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), exit the fort and walk south on Gizenga Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Creek Road. Turn left onto Creek Road and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Road. Here, turn right onto Benjamin Mkapa Road. The Peace Memorial Museum will be on your left, just a short walk down the road.

From the Forodhani Gardens, exit towards the waterfront and head south along the coast on the beach road for about 10 minutes. You will reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Road. Turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Road and walk straight. The Peace Memorial Museum is located on your left side shortly after you turn.
