Walking

From the center of Stone Town, start at Forodhani Gardens, which is a popular gathering spot. Head east towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). Once you reach the Old Fort, continue walking along the seafront promenade until you reach the intersection at Kenyatta Rd. Turn left onto Kenyatta Rd and walk straight for about 5 minutes. The Freddie Mercury Museum is located at 57 Kenyatta Rd, on your left side.

If you are near the Darajani Market, exit the market area towards the main road. Head south on the main road (Mkunazini St) and look for the sign for Kenyatta Rd. Turn left onto Kenyatta Rd and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Freddie Mercury Museum will be on your right at number 57.

Starting from the Spice Market, exit the market and head north on Mkunazini St. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Rd. Turn right onto Kenyatta Rd, and walk for about 5 minutes. The Freddie Mercury Museum will be on your left at 57 Kenyatta Rd.

From the Peace Memorial Museum, walk south towards the seafront. Turn left onto the seafront path and walk along the coast until you reach the Old Fort. At the Old Fort, turn left onto Kenyatta Rd.
