Walking
Starting from the Forodhani Gardens near the Old Fort in Stone Town, head east towards the waterfront along the seafront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the main road, which is called Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Kenyatta Road and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Road. Turn right onto Benjamin Mkapa Road. Jamhuri Gardens will be on your left after a short walk, approximately 5 minutes further.

If you are at the Darajani Market, exit the market and head southeast towards Mkunazini Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Kenyatta Road and walk for about 15 minutes, then turn right onto Benjamin Mkapa Road. Jamhuri Gardens will be on your left side shortly after you turn.
