Walking
From the heart of Stone Town, head towards Forodhani Gardens. Exit the gardens and turn left onto the beachfront road, known as the seafront promenade. Continue walking along this road until you reach the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe). It is located at the intersection of Hurumzi Street and the seafront road. The entrance to Ngome Kongwe is easily recognizable with its large stone walls.

If you are near the Darajani Market, exit the market and head south on Baghani Street. Continue straight until you reach Mkunazini Street. Turn left onto Mkunazini Street and follow the road until you see the Old Fort on your right. Ngome Kongwe is adjacent to the fort and is marked by a prominent entrance.

If you are at the House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib), walk towards the seafront, then turn right along the promenade. Keep walking until you see the Old Fort on your left. Ngome Kongwe is located within the Old Fort complex, which is a short distance from other significant landmarks in Stone Town.
