Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Stone Town, take the B1 road towards the southeast direction for approximately 50 km. Follow the signs to Jambiani. Once you reach Jambiani, continue on the main road until you see signs for Kibigija. Turn left onto Kibigija road and follow it for about 1 km until you reach CONGOMAN Cave and Restaurant at Kibigija, Jambiani. Make sure to have some Tanzanian Shillings on hand for fuel and possible tolls.

• Public Transportation

  Start by taking a daladala (local minibus) from Stone Town to Jambiani. The ride will cost approximately 2,000 TZS and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Jambiani, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Kibigija. Taxis are available and expect to pay around 10,000 TZS for the short drive to CONGOMAN Cave and Restaurant. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a direct route, hiring a taxi from Stone Town to CONGOMAN Cave and Restaurant is a convenient option. The trip will take about 1 hour and typically costs between 50,000 to 70,000 TZS. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand and confirm that the driver knows the location.

• Walking

  If you are already in Jambiani and prefer to walk, head towards the beach and continue south along the coastline until you reach Kibigija. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, offering beautiful views of the ocean along the way. Wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
