Keep following the signs towards Jozani Forest. The entrance to the forest will be on your right after you pass through the village of Mapopwe. Ensure that you have cash on hand as there is an entrance fee of approximately $10 per person for access to the forest.

To reach Jozani Forest using public transportation, head to the Dalla Dalla (local minibus) station in Stone Town. Board a Dalla Dalla heading to Paje or Jozani. The fare is very affordable, usually around 2,000 TZS (about $1). Inform the conductor of your destination, and they will drop you off at the entrance of Jozani Forest. Be prepared for a potentially crowded ride and a journey of about 1 to 1.5 hours.
