If you are renting a car, start from Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar. Take the B1 road heading southeast towards Chwaka and continue driving for about 30 kilometers. Keep following the signs towards Jozani Forest. The entrance to the forest will be on your right after you pass through the village of Mapopwe. Ensure that you have cash on hand as there is an entrance fee of approximately $10 per person for access to the forest.
