Dala Dala
From Zanzibar City, head to the Dala Dala (shared minibus) terminal located near Darajani Market. Look for the Dala Dala that is heading to Pwani Mchangani. The fare is typically around 2,000 TZS. Once you're on the Dala Dala, enjoy the ride which will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Inform the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Matemwe Beach.

After arriving in Pwani Mchangani, you can hire a bicycle taxi, known as a Pikipiki, to take you to Matemwe Beach.
