    If you are in the heart of Stone Town, the Old Fort is easily accessible on foot. Start at the Forodhani Gardens, which is a popular public space near the waterfront. From the gardens, head northwest along the coast on Mizingani Rd. You will see the Old Fort ahead as you approach. The fort is located on your right side just before you reach the main road junction. It should take about 10-15 minutes to walk from Forodhani Gardens.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various shops in Stone Town. Start from the Old Dispensary on the corner of Mkunazini St and continue down Mizingani Rd towards the coast.
