Continue to follow US-321 N for approximately 3 miles. After passing through a traffic light at the intersection with Historic Nature Trail, keep an eye out for the entrance to the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail on your right. The entrance is well-marked and should be easy to spot.

If you do not have a car, public transportation options are limited, but you can use the Gatlinburg Trolley service. Board the trolley at one of the many stops in Gatlinburg. Take the route that services the Arts & Crafts Community or the National Park. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, which is located near the entrance at 117 Airport Rd. Please note that the trolley may not operate directly to the trailhead, so be prepared for a short walk from the nearest stop.

For those feeling adventurous, biking to Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is also an option. From Gatlinburg, you can travel along US-321 N, but be cautious as this road can be busy. The distance from Gatlinburg is roughly 3 miles, and it is recommended to wear a helmet and be aware of traffic. Once you arrive, there are bike racks at the entrance for you to secure your bicycle.

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to the trailhead from Gatlinburg. It is a little over 3 miles, so make sure you're prepared for a hike before you start. Take the East Parkway heading east, and be sure to enjoy the surrounding sights along the way. Once you reach 117 Airport Rd, look for the entrance to the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail on your right.
