    If you are driving from downtown Chattanooga, start on US-27 N. Take exit 1A to merge onto I-24 W toward Nashville. Continue on I-24 W for about 8 miles. Take exit 178 for TN-58 N toward Soddy-Daisy. Merge onto TN-58 N and continue for approximately 7 miles. Turn right onto Game Reserve Rd. Follow Game Reserve Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the Prentice Cooper State Forest Trailhead parking at 3998 Game Reserve Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37405.

    If you are using public transportation, take the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus service. Board the Route 4 bus towards Northgate Mall. Get off at the Northgate Mall stop and transfer to Route 6, which heads towards Soddy Daisy. Exit at the nearest bus stop on TN-58 N. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles down TN-58 N to reach Game Reserve Rd. Turn right on Game Reserve Rd and continue for about 1 mile to the Prentice Cooper State Forest Trailhead parking at 3998 Game Reserve Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37405. Note that the bus fare is approximately $2.00 per ride.
