Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Northshore, the easiest way to get to The Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park is by walking. Start by heading south on North Market Street until you reach the intersection with River Street. Turn left onto River Street and continue walking. Follow River Street until you reach the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Tennessee River. This scenic walk will take you approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs leading to Warner Park. The zoo is located at 301 N Holtzclaw Ave, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bridge.

• Public Transport

  For those preferring public transportation, you can take the CARTA bus. From Northshore, find the nearest bus stop and board the Route 11 bus towards Eastgate. You will need to pay a fare of around $1.50. Ride the bus until you reach the stop near Warner Park, which should take about 25 minutes. After you get off, it's a short walk to the entrance of The Chattanooga Zoo, located at 301 N Holtzclaw Ave.

• Biking

  If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Northshore. Head south on North Market Street towards River Street and then follow the same route as the walking instructions. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the pedestrian bridge, simply continue to Warner Park, and lock your bike at the designated bike rack near the zoo entrance.
