If you're driving, start by navigating to the address 2080 Scotts Gulf Rd, Sparta, TN 38583. From most locations in the Cumberland Plateau, you will likely want to get onto US-70 N. Continue on US-70 N until you reach the intersection with TN-111 N. Take the exit toward Cookeville and merge onto TN-111 N. Stay on TN-111 N for about 10 miles. Look for the exit for TN-84 toward Sparta. Follow TN-84 for approximately 7 miles, then turn left onto Scotts Gulf Rd. Continue on Scotts Gulf Rd for about 3 miles, and Virgin Falls State Natural Area will be on your left. Be aware that parking is available on site, but there may be a small fee for parking, so have some cash ready just in case.
