From downtown Franklin, you can take the Franklin Transit bus route 1 towards Nashville. Board the bus at the Franklin Transit Center located at 708 Columbia Avenue. Stay on the bus until you reach the Music City Central Transit Station in Nashville. From there, transfer to the Metro Transit bus route 7, which will take you directly to the Parthenon. Get off at the stop at 2500 West End Ave.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Franklin. Start your ride on Columbia Avenue (US-31), heading north. Continue until you reach the intersection with I-65. Cross over and keep following West End Ave directly into Nashville. The Parthenon will be on your right, at 2500 West End Ave. The ride is approximately 20 miles and may take about 1.5 hours.
Walking
Walking from downtown Franklin to the Parthenon in Nashville is a long journey, as it is about 20 miles. However, if you wish to walk, follow Columbia Avenue north until you reach the I-65 overpass. Continue on West End Ave until you reach the Parthenon at 2500 West End Ave. Be prepared for a long trek, which could take over 6 hours, and make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
