Walking
If you are starting from the Gatlinburg Parkway, head south on the Parkway towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with East Parkway (US-321). Cross the street carefully, and head onto East Parkway. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Gatlinburg Bypass. You will see a pedestrian bridge that connects you to the Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook. Follow the signs directing you towards the overlook, which is about a 10-minute walk from the pedestrian bridge.

You can take the Gatlinburg Trolley, which has a stop at the Gatlinburg Parkway. Board the trolley and request to be dropped off at the 'Gatlinburg Bypass' stop.
