Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center (which is located at 115 Historic Nature Trail), head southeast on Historic Nature Trail towards the Parkway. Once you reach the Parkway, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with East Parkway. Keep walking straight for about a mile, then turn right onto East Parkway. Continue on East Parkway for about 0.5 miles until you reach the turn-off for John Messer Barn, which will be on your left. Look for the signage along the way to help guide you.

    From the Gatlinburg Trolley station located on the Parkway, board the Trolley heading towards the East Side of Gatlinburg. Get off at the stop for East Parkway.
