Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of the Hatchie River Area. Head southeast on US-51 S towards Jackson. Continue on US-51 S for about 20 miles. Take the exit for I-40 E towards Knoxville. After approximately 5 miles, take exit 80A for US-45 S towards Jackson. Merge onto US-45 S and continue for about 6 miles. Take the exit for TN-186 S and follow it until you reach Lowell Thomas Dr. Turn right onto Lowell Thomas Dr, and Lake Graham will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance to the lake.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from the Hatchie River Area to the Jackson Transit Center. Once at the transit center, transfer to the bus that services US-51 S. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as service may vary. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at a stop near the intersection of US-51 S and TN-186 S. From there, you can either walk (about 1 mile) or call a rideshare service to complete your journey to Lake Graham on Lowell Thomas Dr.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer cycling, you can start from the Hatchie River Area and take the rural roads heading southeast towards Jackson. Follow local cycling maps to find the safest and most scenic route. Once you reach Jackson, navigate to Lowell Thomas Dr. Keep in mind that it is approximately a 15-mile ride, so ensure you have enough water and plan for a few stops along the way.
