Getting There

Car

From Highland Rim, get on US-231 S towards Shelbyville. Continue on US-231 S for about 22 miles until you reach the junction with I-65 N. Merge onto I-65 N and continue for approximately 45 miles. Take exit 340A for I-565 E towards Huntsville. Stay on I-565 E for about 15 miles. Take exit 19A for US-431 S towards Huntsville. Continue on US-431 S for about 5 miles, then take the exit for University Dr. Turn right onto University Dr and continue for about 3 miles. Finally, turn left onto Tranquility Base, and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center will be on your right.
Public Transportation

Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop in Highland Rim. You need to take the Greyhound bus heading towards Huntsville. Once you arrive at the Huntsville bus terminal, you will need to transfer to the local bus service. Look for the 'Huntsville Shuttle' service and take Route 5 towards the Space & Rocket Center. The shuttle will take you directly to Tranquility Base. If you're unsure, ask the driver for confirmation that it stops at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
