If you're starting from downtown Johnson City, head east on W Main St toward S Roan St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Legion St. Turn left onto Legion St and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the corner of Legion St and Alabama St. The Tweetsie Trail Trailhead will be located at this intersection.

From the Johnson City Transit Center, board the Route 7 bus heading towards the 'Alabama St' stop. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes. Once you reach the Alabama St stop, disembark and walk south on Alabama St for about 0.1 miles until you reach the intersection with Legion St. The Tweetsie Trail Trailhead is at this corner.
