Walking
If you are starting from downtown Johnson City, head east on W Main St toward S Roan St. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach S Roan St. Turn left onto S Roan St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach E State of Franklin Rd. Turn right onto E State of Franklin Rd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. After crossing the bridge, you will come to a large intersection. Cross the street and take the pedestrian path to your left that leads to Winged Deer Park.
Public Transportation
From downtown Johnson City, you can take the JC Transit bus route that goes towards Bristol Highway. Board the bus at the nearest stop heading towards Bristol Hwy. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to 4137 Bristol Hwy. Once you disembark, walk approximately 0.2 miles north on Bristol Hwy to reach Winged Deer Park.
Bicycling
If you have a bicycle, start from the downtown area and head to S Roan St. Take S Roan St to E State of Franklin Rd, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bristol Hwy. Use the bike lanes available. After reaching the intersection, turn right onto Bristol Hwy and ride for about 1 mile until you see the entrance to Winged Deer Park on your left.
