Bus
Start at the Knoxville Station (100 E Magnolia Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917). Take the KAT bus route 11 (South Knoxville) towards the South Knoxville area. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of Fort Dickerson Rd and E. Moody Ave. From the bus stop, walk southwest on Fort Dickerson Rd for about 0.5 miles. Augusta Quarry will be on your left at 3000 Fort Dickerson Rd SW.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop in downtown Knoxville. Head south on Gay St, then take a right onto Cumberland Ave. Continue straight to merge onto Henley St, which leads to the James White Parkway. Follow the bike lane until you reach the South Knoxville area. Once you arrive at Fort Dickerson Rd, turn left and bike for about 1 mile. Augusta Quarry will be located on your right at 3000 Fort Dickerson Rd SW.
Walking
From downtown Knoxville, start at Market Square and head south towards Gay St. Follow Gay St until you reach the intersection with W Clinch Ave. Turn left onto Clinch Ave and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. This will take you across the Tennessee River via the Gay Street Bridge. Continue on S. Gay St, which becomes Fort Dickerson Rd. Walk along Fort Dickerson Rd for about 0.7 miles, and Augusta Quarry will be on your right at 3000 Fort Dickerson Rd SW.
