From Market Square, head south on Market Street towards Union Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Gay Street. Turn right onto Gay Street. Walk south for about three blocks. The East Tennessee Historical Society and Museum will be on your left at 601 S Gay St. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Walk to the nearest bus stop at Market Square and look for the KAT route number that goes south towards the downtown area.
