From Oak Ridge, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus route 12, which operates from Oak Ridge to Knoxville. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 'Downtown Knoxville.' Once you get off, walk towards W Hill Ave. Head west on W Hill Ave until you reach 200 W Hill Ave, where the Blount Mansion is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Oak Ridge. Start by heading south on S Illinois Ave, then take a left onto Oak Ridge Turnpike (US-95) heading east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pellissippi Parkway (TN-162). Take a right onto Pellissippi Parkway and follow the signs towards Knoxville. Stay on the bike lane and follow it into downtown Knoxville. Once you reach downtown, navigate to W Hill Ave, and find 200 W Hill Ave where the Blount Mansion is located.
Walking
If you are up for a long walk, start from the center of Oak Ridge. Head south on S Illinois Ave until you reach Oak Ridge Turnpike. Cross at the intersection and continue walking east along Oak Ridge Turnpike. After about 3.5 miles, you will reach the Pellissippi Parkway. Continue on the sidewalk until you arrive in downtown Knoxville. Once there, locate W Hill Ave and walk west until you find 200 W Hill Ave, the location of the Blount Mansion.
