To reach The Geographical Center of Shelby County Historic Marker at 2863 Bartlett Blvd, Memphis, TN 38134, start by locating the nearest MATA (Memphis Area Transit Authority) bus stop. You can use a smartphone app or the MATA website to find a route. If you're in downtown Memphis, take the #2 bus (Poplar Avenue) heading east. Ride the bus until you reach the Poplar Ave and Bartlett Blvd stop. From there, transfer to the #50 bus (Bartlett). Ride the #50 bus to the Bartlett Blvd and Stage Rd stop. Exit the bus and walk south along Bartlett Blvd for about half a mile. The historic marker will be on your left, just before you reach the intersection with Old Brownsville Rd.

If you prefer to ride a bicycle, start in downtown Memphis and head north on Main Street towards Poplar Ave. Turn right onto Poplar Ave and continue cycling east. After approximately 6 miles, turn left onto Bartlett Blvd. Continue on Bartlett Blvd for about 1.5 miles until you reach 2863 Bartlett Blvd. The Geographical Center of Shelby County Historic Marker will be located on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking rules.
