Public Transportation
From Germantown, head to the nearest bus stop to catch the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) bus. You can board the MATA Route 2 bus towards Downtown Memphis. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and alight at the stop nearest to the intersection of Poplar Ave and Cherry Rd. From there, walk east on Cherry Rd for about 0.5 miles. The Memphis Botanic Garden will be on your left at 750 Cherry Rd.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start at the Germantown Greenway and head south towards Poplar Ave. Turn left onto Poplar Ave and continue until you reach Cherry Rd. Turn right onto Cherry Rd and ride for about 1 mile. The Memphis Botanic Garden will be on your right at 750 Cherry Rd.
Walking
If you are up for a walk, start from the center of Germantown. Head west on Farmington Blvd towards Poplar Ave. Once you reach Poplar Ave, turn left and walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach Cherry Rd. Turn right onto Cherry Rd, and the Memphis Botanic Garden will be located on your left at 750 Cherry Rd.
