Getting There

• Car

  From downtown Nashville, take I-40 W toward Memphis. Continue on I-40 W for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 204 for US-431 N toward Ashland City. Merge onto US-431 N and continue for about 10 miles. You will see signs for Beaman Park as you approach Ashland City. Turn left onto Old Hickory Blvd, then take a right onto Beaman Park Blvd. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there are no fees for parking.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take the Nashville MTA bus service. Start by taking the Route 18 (Hermitage) from downtown Nashville. Get off at the stop at US-431 N (Nashville Rd). From there, you will need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, as there is no direct bus route to Beaman Park. The rideshare will take you the remaining distance. Please note that bus fares are typically around $1.70, and rideshare costs may vary based on distance and demand.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, cycling to Beaman Park can be a scenic option. Start in downtown Nashville and take the Greenway trail that runs along the Cumberland River. Follow the trail north and connect to the road leading to US-431 N. Be cautious as you ride along the road for the final stretch to Ashland City. The total distance is about 18 miles and can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. There are no fees for biking, but ensure you have a good bike lock for when you arrive.
