Public Bus
From the center of Murfreesboro, head to the nearest public bus stop for the Rover public transit system. You will need to take Route 3 towards Nashville. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. After approximately a 30-minute ride, get off at the stop at 'Nashville Pike' and 'Rachels Ln'. From there, walk east on Rachels Ln for about 10 minutes until you reach Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage at 4580 Rachels Ln.

If you're comfortable riding a bike, you can rent one from a local bike shop. Start from the square in downtown Murfreesboro and head east on E Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with N Thompson Ln. Turn left on N Thompson Ln and follow it north until it merges onto US-70S. Stay on US-70S for about 4 miles, then turn right onto Rachels Ln. Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage will be on your right after about 1 mile.
